At Hoshin Welding Materials, we propose a collaborative welding robot (Cobot Welding) system utilizing the FAIRINO "FR5". The biggest feature is the "Direct Teach" function, which allows the robot arm to be manually moved to teach the welding position and motion path. This system supports the automation and labor-saving of manual and semi-automatic welding processes as a countermeasure to the shortage of welders and successor technicians. It is also recommended for small lot production with a variety of products and frequent setup changes, such as in can manufacturing, frames, and brackets. Based on CO2 welding, we can consult on various workpieces and welding methods, including MAG, MIG, and TIG. It is compatible with tablet TP and PC connections. The FR5 is a 6-axis collaborative robot with a payload of 5kg, a reach of 922mm, and a repeatability of ±0.02mm. We also support considerations for the introduction of welding robots, robot welding, and cobots, offering proposals for welding machines, wires, gases, torches, jigs, welding tables, and peripheral equipment.
